Haiti's Amputee National Soccer Team to World Cup

 

 

Help send Haiti's Amputee National Soccer Team to the World Cup. After many turmoils, tragedies, and insecurities in the country, they have qualified for the World Cup for amputee soccer in Instanbul, Turkey. The World Cup will be from September 29th through October 9th, 2022. The Haitian Amputee National Soccer team qualified for the World cup by winning a qualifying tournament over Mexico, the United States, Costa Rice, and El Salvador. Many of these players lost a limb from the earthquake in 2000 and came from destitute situations. The only way they were able to accomplish the task of qualifying for the World Cup was through the help of Operation Go Quickly (https://goquickly.org). To make it to Istanbul for the World Cup, there is a $5,000 participation fee, which $3000 is due but April 15, 2022.
My name is Rogers and I met Ephraim through my wife, Jenny.  They volunteered together at Camp Aldersgate when they were younger and their friendship has endeavored.  Ephraim is very passionate about two things, soccer and his home country of Haiti.  This money is being raised on behalf of him and for the soccer team.  We will be sending the funds to the Haiti Amputee National Soccer team to help them pay their registration fee for the World Cup in Turkey.
