Haitian Cultural Festival 2018

32113832_153723847140192_r.jpegThe 9th Annual AFOUTAYI Haitian Dance, Music and Arts Festivalis an authentic, culturally immersive experience into the world of traditional Haitian Dance, Music and Arts, as well to commemorate Indigenous Peoples Day.
A week's worth of fun experiencing Haitian arts, food and culture includingcommunity gathering, soccer game, blessing ceremony, dance and music workshops and performances, featuring local and guest artists from divers background dedicated to sharing their knowledge to the community.
 
There are a lot of people counting on us to deliver the AFOUTAYI, nourishment for community, culture, heart and soul in Minnesota. Thanks to you and your heartfelt support, AFOUTAYI continues to touch the lives of people in our community who are most in need of dance, music, arts, culture, choreography and food to build a strong arts community respectful and supportive of each other that advocate for education, communication, social justice, integration, connection with the environment, acknowledging our roots, honoring our tradition, ancestry and spreading love to each other. Our organization thrive to systematically present dance, music, arts, food, culture and social interaction to so many audience members in so many different settings, exposing so many more people to the beauty and power of live artistic healing.
Please consider making a donation to AFOUTAYI today. We only have until September 8th to fundraise with a week long of Haitian Cultural Festival from October 7-14, 2018 in the Twin Cities in Minnesota. All the funds we raise will go to secure locations, rent musical equipment, pay for stage sound and light design.
