Currently, Haiti is facing an unprecedented crisis characterized by political instability, social unrest, and economic turmoil. The recent assassination of President Jovenel Moïse has further exacerbated the situation, plunging the nation into a state of uncertainty and chaos. Your donation will enable us to provide essential humanitarian aid, including food, medical supplies, and shelter, to those most in need. Additionally, your generosity will help fund diplomatic initiatives and peacekeeping efforts aimed at fostering dialogue and reconciliation among diverse stakeholders in Haiti. Bishop Lubin Moise is a founder of Mount Sinai Worship Center in Brooklyn, NY and a humanitarian who started the EcoVillage Haiti project and medical mission in devastated Earthquake areas of Les Cayes, Haiti.
However, building housing and medical mission became impossible due to political instability and gang violence. Bishop Moise realized his focus must shift to bring unity among the leadership and regain control over the country.
On November 19, 2022, Universal Peace Federation (UPF.org) commissioned Bishop Moise as an Ambassador for Peace.

On November 23rd, 2022, at a time of extreme volatility in Haiti, with gangs blocking streets and ports and all schools closed due to violence, he went to Port-au-Prince with a plan to help bring its leadership together to bring peace in a very volatile situation. Bishop Moise met with media groups and political, religious, and civic leaders.

The trip was a great success. By the time Bishop Moise returned, the country was back to normal with ports and schools open. The trip culminated in two regional Peace Marches first in Port-au-Prince and second in Carrefour.

Bishop Moise has lost 70% of his eyesight In the last few years. Despite this challenge and danger of traveling to Haiti due to ongoing instability and violence, he is still determined to continue his mission trips and see this beautiful country restored and its long-suffering end.

Peace and Unity plan

1. Bring executives from Haitian political parties and institutions together for a series of round table discussions.

2. Call a national conference in which all Haitians can participate.

3. Form an interim government and Invite ex-senators, mayors and house representatives to collaborate with the office of the governor and department.

4. Reform and strengthen the state, police department, justice system and military.

These initial steps will establish security and lay the ground for reforms in education and the political system, creating jobs.
