Haiti Orphanage Project ESPWA

Haiti is a country in the Caribbean which was devastated by an earthquake in 2010, an estimated 3 million people were affected & thousands were killed. Haiti is still rebuilding itself & on October 26th I will travel to Kenscoff to lend a hand in this rebuilding of lives. Along with the charity group ESPWA I will be working on an orphanage to help improve living conditions, from leaking roofs, to concrete footpaths, to construction work, a physically challenging week but most rewarding I'm sure. The orphanage is run by fellow Westport native Gena Heraty, who has dedicated the last 25 years to the children of Haiti & I just want to help her with her amazing work & let the children in her orphanage know the people of Westport & Ireland support them & love them & that we want to help Gena help them. They are not forgotten
