In September 2025, the boys lost their dad suddenly. Ben was loved by so many and his passing has left a huge hole in all of our lives.

Haisley was incredibly close to his dad, they truly were best friends. They did everything together. For Haisley this 5K obstacle course isn’t just about fundraising, it’s his way of staying close to his dad and doing something he knows would have made him proud.

Ben had always wanted to properly do up his mum and great aunties grave and Haisley remembers that. Now the boys want to make their dad’s final resting place just as special as he deserves. They want to choose the headstone and surround themselves.. something personal, something meaningful.

As a family, we would have paid for this together without hesitation but the boys are adamant they want to raise the money themselves. They want to work for it. They want to do this for their dad.

On Saturday 13th June at 11am, they’ll be taking on an inflatable 5K obstacle course at East Brighton Park. Friends and family are so welcome to come along, cheer them on, or even take part.
