Hairy Henry's Homeward Bound Tour

My name is Sandra and I am riding all the way across Ireland - from the Northern Irish border to the South coast - with my horse Flora to fundraise for my Hairy Henry Care Farm in West Cork.

 

Hairy Henry Care Farm supports people to deal with emotional, social, physical, mental or educational challenges. People of all abilities can come to our farm and benefit from engaging with our therapy animals and farming activities. Our therapy work here on the farm can put smiles on faces, relieve stress, ease anxious minds, enable challening bodies, make positive social connections with others, help find courage and confidence, and increase well-being and joy.

 

Our farm urgently needs a barn so that sessions can take place in rainy and windy weather. At the moment, all sessions are taking place outdoors in all weathers, which can be difficult at times....

In 2021, we were very lucky that we were able to get some funds to start raising this much needed barn, but there is still lots of work to finish everything, and the funds are used up.

 

That's why I am asking for support from you please. Every donation, big or small, will help us get the necessary jobs done. Your donations will be used for building work on the barn, electricity, plumbing, fencing, parking, a disability accesible toilet and other important things.

With your help, we can get there! It would mean the world to us and the children and adults who need our farm.
