My mom, my brothers mom, and mother to thousands over her 32 years as a teacher has recently been diagnosed with Stage IV lung and liver cancer.

The moment she found out, ignoring the prognosis decided to start treatment. And with that treatment means she will ultimately lose her hair.

This beautiful woman has been through so much in her life and yet, even with this horrible disease attacking her, she has not let that dim her light.


She told me today that her insurance will not cover the cost of her wigs. If I could I would shave my head and give her my hair... but we will get to that in a little bit. ;)

I am hoping that with the power of the internet and the amazing people in this world, you can help me raise the funds to get her 2 wigs to keep her smiling through this difficult time.



After looking into the cost for these wigs my mom was heartbroken to find that she would not be able to afford wigs made with real hair. So this is where you come in! Please, if you can donate, do that. And any, I mean ANY amount helps! If not, please just share the link. Sometimes taking those few moments to share means this could reach someone who will be able to make a difference in my moms life.

Now, here’s the fun part. I mentioned that we would come back to me shaving my head...

If we can reach the goal of $1000 by May 5th which is my next hair appointment, I will shave my head! This was my moms idea, not mine haha. I actually hate even wearing my hair up because I have protruding ears and have hated them since I was little. 

PLOT TWIST!!!! If we reach the goal, the highest donator can pick the color I dye it! And ANY color goes! The crazier the better... all you have to do, is when you donate, put the color or colors in your comments and make it fun y’all! Super simple for everyone. :)
