Hair we go with Locks of Love
Donation protected
Hello there,
My name is Sarah and I have been on a journey to grow my hair as long as I could to donate them for the second time around, so.... Hair we go again ... 5 years ago I donated a bunch of my hair (about 12 inches) to the Little Princess Trust and I have always wanted to do it again and set myself the goal to donate an even longer lengh of hair (the longer the better for the LPT), this time I am hoping to donate a whooping 27 inches! I have kept my haircuts to a minimum these past five years to achieve my goal, but now it's time! I feel immense pride to have grown them that long and to be able to donate them to such a wonderful cause.
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to the age of 24 that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.
Last time I donated both my hair and the money that I raised for it (£658!!! Thank you again to everyone who donated :) ) to the Little Princess trust. This time around I would like to donate my hair to the LPT whilst also share the love and raise the money for our local children and their small rural school that my son Ethan also attends. With the ever growing public cuts, I feel our rural schools don't often attract the same level of interest and support that they deserve. With the money we will raise, my hope is to buy a variety of sensory equipments to support all children in our school who would find themselves in need of a much needed sensory break from the feelings of overwhelm that school time can often trigger in children. These specific school supplies are often expensive and would be out of reach for smaller school with smaller budgets.
For whichever cause that resonates with you most, please help me achieve my goal and donate to your heart's content.
Thank you to the bottom of my locks for your kind support!
