Hair and Scary Medical Expenses - Brain Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Cyn. I have a sister in Pennsylvania who is fighting for her life one day at a time. She has geoblastoma. One day she had a seizure and went to hospital and the next day they did surgery due to brain cancer. It was all a scary suprise. She's really tough so I know she's being strong and hanging on. She has a scar from the surgery that looks like the length of her head complete with staples to hold the incision together. They couldn't get all of the cancer because some of it was too close to her spine. Now she is going through radiation and chemotherapy. She is losing all her hair. Ever since I can remember she has always taken pride in her appearance. Her hair is a beautiful red, down to her waist but not for much longer. Her options to stay alive is a device called the Optune. Without this device they give her 15 months. This will make it impossible for her to regain any hair. I'd like for her to be able to buy a nice wig and groceries with out worry. This is all I can physically do from Texas at the moment. She is a kind, smart, funny women who has been there for me when I knew it and when I didn't know it or expect it. Right before the stroke she had to put her pup down. I know her heart is big so I know it must hurt a lot. I would do anything for her right now and plan to visit after the new year. As for now this is my call into the universe to help make her life a tiny bit easier. Thank you.
