Haines City Havoc Basketball Club

Haines City Havoc Basketball Club is comprised of hard working academically minded athletes that endeavor to gain college athletic scholarships. The best way to get discovered by a college basketball coach or scout is to participate in the AAU. That's where we play! As you can see from the picture, we had just finished competing in the championship game and had qualified for the AAU National Championship Tournament!!! Tournament team fees to register and participate can be rather costly though. It cost up to $650 per team for just one tournament.  Our club will participate in 10 to 12 tournaments this AAU season which goes from March through July.  The average tournaments cost per team per season is $4,500.... and we have two teams. We need your help!!! Our 9th grade and 10th grade young men also work other fund raisers where they are personally actively engaged in the work and pull their fair share.  We are not looking for a free ride and do none of the work...Unfortunately even with their hard efforts the funds can fall short. That why I have created this Go Fund Me page...To give them a boost to reach their goal. These boys are good people and deserve your help! My name is Coach Shawn Traylor and for the last two years it has been my goal to get as many players as possible offered a college athletic scholarship. Its my way of giving back to the community.  They may not all make Division 1 NCAA scholarships, but there are a LOT of other schools that offer basketball scholarships that compete at NCAA division 2 or 3, or the NAIA or Junior colleges. There is a place for many of my young men that play for my club. Wont you help me help them get a good start in life with a college education?
