WE QUALIFIED FOR THE NATIONAL JUNIOR OLYMPICS, NOW WE MUST GET THERE!
We are a small gym, (15th Round Boxing), founded in Glendale, CA. The 15th Round family tries to attend all major, amateur, boxing tournaments. Hailey Salguero, our 13 year old, 2X National Champion, has worked all year to qualify for the 2019 USA Boxing National Junior Olympics to be held in Wisconsin on the week of 6/23/19. Hopefully we can raise the money we need for travel, food, lodging and registration costs associated with participating. With your help, we feel we can come home as a 3X National Champ!
This is a very important, ranking tournament with the best boxers from all over the USA converging in Wisconsin and competing for the whole week - beginning June 23. We have found out Hailey's bracket will have 3 fighters!
Hailey joined our boxing gym over two years ago, burdened by bullies making fun of her for being obese. Since then, she has lost 25lbs and become one of our best athletes. She is a 2X National Champ that competes at the highest level with no quit in her. Hailey must attend these types of tournaments to have a chance at fulfilling her dream in the sport of boxing.
The sacrifices boxers make in their daily lives start at a very young age, are truly humbling and their effort is the reason why we don't quit.
In donating, please remember, all tournament expenses are covered by the fighters and the gym; thus we could use your help!
