Hey folks, Collin and I are asking for any help anybody can reasonably give (no harming your own families trying to help us!), as we now have a multi-day hospital stay and several surgeries on the horizon.

Last Saturday, Sept. 9th, Collin was at Belegarth for some good ditching and went down to a knee after a clean shot to his leg. He felt a tearing in his knee, but it wasn't too bad beyond some ice and ibuprofen.

Tuesday, September 12th, what was just bruising now had a hard lump on the outside of his knee. No fluid filled, just a bone hard lump on the side. I recognized this as a meniscal cyst, it was practically a picture from a textbook of it and I've seen it before. We went to the doctor next day to get orders for an MRI, as I knew further treatment would be necessary but we had time.

Friday the 15th, last night, that time was taken from us by an aggressive and sudden infection to the lump spot. His leg is swollen, the lump is now huge and a sac of gross fluids that just keeps making medical staff say "...fascinating" in different tones and volumes. He has been admitted to the hospital surgical floor, but has several days ahead of him and several procedures.

We are currently a single income household due to the very important strikes going on, so I need help. I put a starting cost of 5k because that should cover what my insurance says out of pocket will be plus bills associated. All funds will go to his care, it's so hard for me to ask for help but this one isn't about me so I'm doing whatever I can.
