Help Hadley’s Kitchen Grow with a Bread Oven

My name is Nicholas, and I’m the owner of Hadley’s Kitchen, a small cottage bakery with a big heart for my community. My passion for cooking started early, and when the national SNAP issues happened in November, I felt called to help my neighbors. I partnered with a local Food Pantry Organization to set up a 'free little pantry,' filling it with bread I baked to support those in need. Even after the SNAP issues were resolved, my baking continued, and people in my neighborhood encouraged me to start selling my bread, saying it was delicious and they wanted more.

Now, I host pop-ups in my driveway, inviting people to bring donations in when coming to see me. My goal has always been to provide cost-effective, high-quality food for my community, and I believe that good food should be accessible to everyone.

A new bread oven would allow me to scale up my baking, reach more people, and take steps toward my dream of owning a local, queer-owned business that’s deeply rooted in giving back. Baking is my primary love language, and I want to use it to nourish and uplift my community. If you’re considering supporting this fundraiser, know that you’re helping someone who was a K12 educator, has always been involved in their community, and has dreamed of owning a food business since childhood (there are even photos of me at age 6 with my first easy bake oven!). Thank you for believing in me and helping me do good in my community.
