Do you believe in the need to exercise, get fit and live a healthy lifestyle (even if you don’t actually do those things)? I do!

I’m Hadley Allen, and I want to bring my personal training business to as many people as I can!

For the last fifteen years, I have been an accomplished marathon runner, triathlete and trainer. As a trainer, I have done it all: boot camp, spin, strength training, hardcore cardiovascular classes and trained NFL, college and elite high school athletes and triathletes. I have come to appreciate time-tested techniques that have a clear physiological advantage over other exercises, fads and workout routines. I don’t put my clients on a weight machine or treadmill and just count to ten or stare at my watch. I am actively involved demonstrating and facilitating proper form and safe exercises. I do not waste my clients time by using techniques that are based on a leap of faith, fads or little scientific proof behind them.  I take pride in utilizing battle-tested training concepts and techniques that are timeless and applicable to increased physical well-being. I am constantly innovating new exercises and new methods of applying tried and true techniques to deliver outstanding results.

I am especially focused on helping my clients overcome mental barriers and simply feeling good. Be it weight management, stress management or overall mental wellness, I pride myself on being the rare empathetic trainer who can sense the moment when a client wants to quit, and I have a keen intuition for finding just the right key for my clients to unlock their fitness potential. When you work out with me, I want you to understand what parts of your body we’re working, and most importantly, why we are working it that way. When my clients understand what they’re doing, the benefits aren’t a mystery, and so the training sticks.  I want my clients to understand their body, because a lot of training injuries happen due to myths or lack of understanding of how the body’s anatomy actually works.  An informed client is going to be a healthier client.

But I want to do more. I have always been motivated and driven. While studying at the prestigious The Juilliard School in New York, where I received my B.A. in Music, I became inspired with the human body – how it functions and how to help colleagues and students overcome aches and pains caused by working in their artistic field. Upon graduation, I plunged into studying Kinesiology and Nutrition. Today, I am certified from the America Council on Exercise (ACE), including post/prenatal fitness and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

Being a personal trainer limits my reach. Traveling to and from different gyms, trying to schedule clients around my time and each other, is more than a full time job. This GoFundMe page will help me do two critical things:

1.     Build the tools to properly market my own personal training business so I can attract clients that help me maximize my reach and income for in-person training.

2.     Build an on line personal training business characterized by a variety of: online videos, real-time internet training sessions from my fitness center in my home, creating a library of recipes and nutrition plan information, posting articles about physical fitness, and distributing my e-book, Forty Days To Fit.

To accomplish those goals, I need funding to be spent on: videographers and equipment so I can do high quality videos to post, web site development to update my current web site (www.hadleyallenfitness.com) to be the portal for the Hadley Allen Fitness brand and business, hire a public relations/marketing consultant to help me boost my presence and launch the business successfully.

I hope you’ll help me reach my goal!

My on-line content (photos and articles) can be found on my Facebook page (www.facebook.com/hadleyallenfitness). Additional information about my personal training philosphies are available at my Hadley Allen Fitness web site.

Waukegan Road (inside Joy of the Game behind Deerbrook Mall), Deerfield, Illinois 60015 and Midtown Athletic Club in Bannockburn, Illinois.
