Hadleigh was born with HLHS (Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome). She has to have multiple open-heart surgeries with a possible heart transplant before starting school. We know other complications come from these surgeries, such as lung surgery. Her vocal cords were paralyzed, causing her to have a G-tube to be fed through. Her journey requires multiple nurse visits, therapy visits, and other doctor visits that are far from home each week. From gas, motel expenses, diapers, and all the other stuff needed for all of these surgeries and visits, it is extremely expensive. This is to not only help Hadleigh but to help other babies with HLHS undergoing surgeries and their families!
