Haddox Family

Oliver was taken to the ER on Monday afternoon on, 10/31 due to having extreme difficulty breathing from RSV. They decided he needed to be put on a ventilator as soon as possible because he was in very bad shape. Due to there being no pediatric rooms open at any nearby children's hospitals, Oliver was sent to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, where he was admitted to the Pediatric ICU. He had to be re-intubated three times due to a collapsed lung and extremely high Co2 levels. When Oliver arrived at Sparrow Hospital, he was 100% relying on the ventilator for all of his breathing and was almost dead. Accompanied in Lansing by his mother and his father ( Brooke and Nick Haddox), his father has been unable to work due to needing to provide as much support as possible to his son. Oliver is on the mend but still has a ways to go to be out of the hospital and completely recover from his illness. The family needs help during this time to cover bills while the parents have been out of work.
