Help Our Haddington Rugby P7 Squad Get to Newcastle 2026

We’re raising funds to help our Haddington Rugby P7 squad travel to a special rugby tournament in Newcastle in April 2026 — and we need your support to help make this unforgettable experience possible for every player.

For many of these children, this journey began years ago. Some have been playing together since P1, growing not just as rugby players but as friends. Now in P7, Haddington and Dunbar clubs have come together to form one squad — combining two communities, building new friendships, and creating a strong team spirit that truly reflects the values of grassroots rugby.

This tour is about so much more than rugby.

It’s about friendship, teamwork, confidence, and adventure. It’s about giving young players the chance to challenge themselves, create lifelong memories, and celebrate the incredible journey they’ve shared together before moving on to the next stage of their rugby and school lives.

We believe every child should have the opportunity to go — regardless of financial circumstances. That’s why we are working hard as a team to raise funds to support travel, accommodation, and tournament costs.

Sponsored Walk starting from Carfraemill to Gifford East Lothian 28th March 2026

As part of our fundraising efforts, the squad will be taking on a sponsored walk from Carfraemill to Gifford. The players are stepping up together off the pitch as well as on it, showing determination, teamwork, and community spirit as they work towards their goal.
