Hey HAC athletes! As you are probably aware, we have an amazing, engaged, committed, enthusiastic, and diverse coaching staff at the Hillcrest Athletic Club. And while Eric and I have made a personal commitment to pay them as much above the industry standard as possible, the industry standard just isn't where it needs to be - especially given the high cost of living (and commercial real estate) in San Diego.

So when one of our members suggested we put together a fundraising campaign for our Coaches, to give our athletes the opportunity to say "Thanks!" for all they do, I figured why not give it a shot (even though I pretty much suck at this sort of thing)?

This is totally optional (duh!); give as much or as little as you want. 100% of what we raise here will be divided up among the 8 coaches who got you through 2018 (Crystal, Sarah, David, Jacob, Nikki, JP, Gene, and Dan), and will be presented to them at our Athlete Appreciation Party on Saturday, 1/18.

PLEASE don't tell them about this; it'll be way cool to watch the look of shock and surprise on their faces at the party.
