Hi! My name is Kevin Habovick. I am fundraising to follow my passion of BBQ and turning it into a business. I have been grilling and smoking meat in my backyard for a few years with rave reviews from family and friends. This encouraged me to get involved in BBQ competitions through the Steak Cookoff Association and Kansas City BBQ Society and I have since fallen in love with them. We have won awards at every competition we have entered so far and plan to continue to compete in as many as we can. I really enjoy experimenting with recipes and have created my own BBQ Rub recipe that we have used in competition. I plan to use the money we raise to start selling our BBQ Rub recipe both online and at the competitions we participate  in. It is my hope that I will be able to create and sell a number of rubs and sauces in the coming months. Looking towards the future, it would be my dream to open a BBQ catering business. I hope to start small and achieve this dream someday! It would mean a lot to me to have your support in funding this endeavor.
