From Storm to Sanctuary — Secure CDP City Church’s Permanent Home

Hurricane Milton tore open our sanctuary. The ceiling gave way, the water poured in, and our congregation has been worshiping outside and in borrowed spaces ever since. We lost a roof—but not our calling. Now, by the grace of God, a door has opened for us to purchase a building and give CDP City Church a permanent home in the Wimauma/Tampa area.

This is our pivot from rent to roots—from temporary to permanent, from devastation to deed.

CDP City Church is a 501(c)(3) ministry that exists to Love God, Love People.

Week after week, we’ve served families, discipled new believers, lifted the broken, fed the hungry, and created a safe place for our children and youth to encounter Jesus. Owning our building means:

Stability for families — no more last-minute space changes because of damage or rent issues.

Room to grow — classrooms for kids and teens, prayer and training space, community outreach hubs.

Stewardship — your gift builds equity into a permanent ministry home.

The Plan & Deadlines

We have a pathway to purchase, with two time-critical phases:

Phase 1 — “Lions of Zion”

$50,000 by September 30, 2025 to secure the sales contract and financing.

We’re believing for 50 families/businesses at $1,000 each (or any combination to reach $50,000).

Phase 2 — “Shield of Zion”

$150,000 by February 1, 2026 to close on the building and inaugurate our new sanctuary.

Gifts of any size move us forward—every dollar is a brick.

The sooner we reach these goals, the sooner we stop paying rent and move into our own house of worship.
