I am raising money to do a studio recording of 'Rise', a song I wrote as my contribution to the movement towards equality for all people.
More info after this video...
'Rise' has been sung by several choirs, including the Glide Ensemble in SF. It was also part of a pilgrimage journey of people traveling from SF to The National Lynching Museum in Alabama.
During these challenging times, my goal is to make this song widely accessible. Our country and our world need all of us to raise our voices in the name of all that is good and true. I offer this song to help carry us through.
Once recorded, it will be shared as a resource for churches, communities, for those working for justice, and for all people who would resonate with it wherever they are.
In order to get 'Rise' out to the public, I need a professional recording to distribute.
The recording will involve top notch producer, Jeffrey Wood, who will ensure the highest quality recording is attained. It will also include outstanding singers and professional percussionists.
Everyone who contributes to this project will receive a digital copy of 'Rise'! Hard copies will be available upon request.
I am so grateful for your help to be able to share this song with the world.
Please feel free to email me if you'd like more information.
I truly appreciate you making it happen!
Sending gratitude and love, thank you!!
