Gerald's Road to Recovery

Friends and Family,

As some of you may know, Gerald was recently diagnosed with a rare blood cancer. He spent weeks in and out of the hospital yearning for answers and he is finally being released from a month-long hospital stay that consisted of surgeries, treatments & rehabilitation. Now that he will be home, his son, Ben, will be his primary caregiver while receiving assistance from at-home care a few times a week for the duration of his journey to recovery. This is no easy task for Ben as it requires constant attention, emotional strength, and unwavering dedication.

Ben and his family are doing everything they can to ensure Gerald is receiving the necessary care he needs as he fights this battle. They are assisting in his medical care while also trying to ensure his spirits are lifted. Unfortunately, the financial burden of Gerald's medical treatments also needs to be tended to while he is undergoing chemotherapy.

We are reaching out on behalf of Gerald & Ben as they navigate through their new normal. The funds raised will go directly to the two of them to assist with all of the medical bills, Gerald's homecare & anything else that may help them as they navigate through these trying times.
