Family and friends, I have been thinking long and hard about ADOPTION and I've finally decided to move forward! As a single male, I've encountered some hurdles during my research in finding an agency that I am comfortable with and that will be with me every step of the way- until now.
My 16 years of working at a non-profit has taught me many important life lessons; grow, gain and give back. I've grown as an individual and gained social connections and perspectives that will never be lost. I am now ready to give back by providing a loving, nurturing home to a baby who deserves it.
At first, I was hesitant to develop a campaign via Go Fund Me to support and offset the cost of the adoption process after my social worker's recommendation. But, I know that my family and friends only have LOVE for something so incredible. If you are able to donate to bring this dream to fruition, I could really use your help. If you are not in a place financially, I ask only good vibes from you!
The fees associated with adoption are pricey, so every little bit helps. My goal of $15,000 is a portion of the overall costs for this to become a reality.
All moneys raised will go directly to the nationwide adoption agency, ADOPTHELP which works to facilitate the best placement/match of a birthmother with me.
The process is generally 10-12 months (pending on the right fit for a successful placement). Stay tuned for updates. Your kindness is immeasurable and as we all know, it takes a village!!
