Hello. My name is kathrine. I am 58 years old Ihave three daughters. The youngest ae 26 and21 .  I found out on a routine Colonoscopy  October 2014 that I had a "blockage"that needed removal and biopsy. Before this could be done I developed severe right side pain. When i went to my doctor he immediately called an ambulance and had the hospital waiting to do immediate emergency surgery. I felt like a dear caught in the headilghts.  I awoke to find I had malignant Stage 3 Colon Cancer.  Since then I had a port implanted in my chest for chemotherapy treatment. Ive had 6 months of chemo and several other tests. I recently found out I need 3 biopsys on 3 more possible tumors that the doctors think are most likely malignant. I will need more surgery. The nearest hospital that can give me the treatment I now need is 400 miles away inSan Francisco, UCSF. This is very strange for me to be asking for donations but as I have dicovered Cancer is very expensive. The travel expence is more than I can afford. Please could you find it in your hearts to help me with any donations? I likely  really need your help right away because im most likely having surgery within a month. My goal would be to get cured and to live long enough to see my children married and have their own families. Your help could make a difference between the best medical care I can get or treatment in a small town. This money would help pay for transportation,doctor and hospital costs, and hotel room for doctor visits. Besides the cancer I am disabled due to nerve damage from a surgery that left my right leg severly damaged. I cant travel alone.  I thank you so much for any help you can give me. My family would be so happy if they could be there with me while I have surgery.   It would mean so much to know there are people out there that could help me in my time of need.
