Borneo World Challenge 2025!

Hi, my names is lily, I'm 16 and I am running the Manchester 10k on Sunday 18th May followed by the Taunton half Marathon on the Sunday 25th of may 2025 to raise money for the 2025 Borneo World Challenge conservation trip and for the British Heart Foundation.

I’m extremely lucky to have the opportunity to travel to Malaysia this July with around 20 others from my school to work on various wildlife conservations and experience the incredible landscape.

I cannot describe how exited I am for this amazing trip.

I have already put a relatively large sum of money together from part-time work, but want to use my new love for running to raise a final amount in this last stretch before I go.

I will also be contributing a quarter of the amount raised to the British heart foundation in memory of my auntie Jo who we lost suddenly only two years ago due to heart disease.

I have trained very hard and this will be my first ever competitive running event ,so it means such a lot to me.
