Medical Supplies for Ukraine

Viktoriya Mashinson is a PhD student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), Dr. Olga Taraschenko is an Associate Professor at UNMC in Neurological Sciences, and Dr. Valia Gumenyuk is an Assistant Professor at UNMC in Neurological Sciences. Viktoriya, Olga, and Valia are originally from Ukraine. They are urgently working on purchasing and shipping greatly needed medical supplies for frontline hospitals in Ukraine. They are working directly with physicians to identify and fulfill their needs. They have recently started on online art auction (link below) to raise funds for their efforts. 

The situation is urgent. They need to purchase and ship the supplies as soon as possible to ensure that they can get to the recipients. Should the rapidly changing events prevent them from carrying out this project, donors will be refunded.

Updated Goal 4.1.22 Thanks to the generously of our donors we were able to reach 95% of our original goal in less than 3 weeks. We are getting ready to send our first shipment of medical supplies to Ukrainian physicians. In the process of working on this humanitarian project we have learned about additional needs on the ground in Ukraine and have established networks that will enable us to meet these needs. We have therefore decided to continue this fundraiser to bring more lifesaving medical supplies to Ukraine. We are grateful for your continued support and interest.
