Well, my dear little angel baby Dolly Lama has cancer again and her spleen has a cancerous tumor that will explode any day if I do not have her operated on within 2 weeks the doctors say.
I used all my savings 2 years ago when she had thyroid cancer and we thought we got it all but as we know sometimes they miss some. The CT scan shows that the dam thing has an off shoot that will cut off her breathing if we do not kill it and they found the spleen also had a large cancerous tumor and is ready to rupture which would mean an agonizing unavoidable death very soon. The doctors assure me that if we go ahead and move quickly that Dolly has a great chance to make it!!! If not, then I will have to put her down soon. If any of you know me, you know how I love my animals and all creatures. I save them when ever I can. And, if you know Dolly, well, you know what a miracle she is.
I found Dolly crawling out of the LA River. Her hind legs had been tied together and woven through the hairs of her groin. Someone wanted her to die. She was dragging herself out barely alive. She had been abused beyond human understanding. It took 3 years and much love and understanding to bring her around to the happy loving gal she is today. Now she is truly the most loving creature angel I have ever encountered and those that meet her would agree.
I am a gay man. I live alone as many of you know. My animal's - Dee Dee and Dolly are my life. Losing one of them, especially in this pandemic, will be crushing. Any assistance that you can give would be a miracle. I hate asking for help. I rarely do, but I thought this time I would reach out and see.. If you can help me save Dolly what a gift that would be. Then, when this pandemic is over, I will do a show with Dolly !!! She will be the honored guest and you will all get to meet this incredible creature who you helped save and who has saved my life.
