Slocum Massacre Marker Dedication

The Slocum Massacre Historical Marker Dedication Ceremony will be held on January 16th, 2016 at 1:00 at Slocum ISD in Slocum, Texas. In order for this important event to be staged with the proper promotion and necessary logistics, we are trying to raise $1,522.00 to cover the expenses of the presentation.
The funding requested will cover the cost of the Program Design and Printing, the Advertisement/Announcement in Palestine newspaper, a Photographer/Videographer,
Light Refreshments and Shuttle Service (to transport guests from Slocum High School to and from marker location).
All contributors will be recognized on the official Slocum Massacre Historical Marker Dedication Program unless they request anonymity.
