Help Me Get Emergency Surgery

My name is Julieta. I’m currently in Canada and recently received heartbreaking medical news — I have a 25 cm cyst on my right ovary that could rupture at any moment. I also have another smaller cyst, about 3.8 cm on my left ovary.

A few days ago, I had to be admitted to the emergency room because of severe abdominal pain. I initially thought it was related to IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), but after several tests and scans, the doctors discovered the true cause, the large ovarian cyst that’s now putting my health at serious risk.

The doctors told me that I urgently need emergency surgery, as the size and pressure of the cyst could lead to life threatening complications if it bursts. I’m terrified because I’m alone in this country, and every day I live with the fear that it might happen suddenly.

What makes this even harder is that I’m in the process of applying for permanent residency in Canada, which means I cannot leave the country, doing so could cancel my application, and I wouldn’t be able to return. Unfortunately, I don’t have public health coverage yet, so I must pay all medical and hospital costs myself, which are extremely expensive.

Beyond the physical pain and fear, I’m also deeply worried about my ability to become a mother one day. My biggest hope is that this surgery can be done in time to save my ovaries.
