A few weeks ago, I made the decision to move to the bustling city of New York to manage a restaurant here in Brooklyn. As many of you know, relocating to a new city comes with its fair share of expenses. Unfortunately, in addition to the financial strain, I experienced a freak accident getting bit by a dog last Friday that has added to my difficulties. I consider myself incredibly fortunate that, in the grand scheme of things, I will ultimately recover from this incident with minimal scarring. However, it required me to spend five hours in the emergency room and undergo surgery by a plastic surgeon to repair the injuries to my face. As a result, I am now facing significant medical bills that I am struggling to afford. On top of that, I must find a new apartment within the next week, which only adds to the financial strain.
