Help Lisa Find Hope and Healing

This summer, I welcomed a family into my home: a single mom named Lisa, her teenage son, and their beloved pets, The picture above is Maddie, 15 year old boarder collie, they also have two cats one requires vet costs. They’ve lost everything: their home, their business, and are overwhelmed by debt.

Lisa has been battling addiction for years. Despite multiple attempts to get clean, relapses have led to homelessness and heartbreak. But now, after hitting rock bottom, Lisa is in the hospital and desperate for real change. She is ready to fight for her life and her future.

Lisa has secured a place at Teen Challenge Women’s Centre, a program that offers long-term recovery and transformation. To make this possible, we need help covering the administration fees and travel costs to get her there.

Teen Challenge Canada operates 12-month in-residence alcohol and drug addiction rehabilitation programs, for adults 18 years and older, with centres located in Alberta, Atlantic Canada, Saskatchewan and Ontario. They offer help and hope to those struggling with alcoholism and/or addiction to other drugs, their mission is to demonstrate God's love by helping individuals become free from substance addiction and equipping them to live full and meaningful lives.

Her son will continue to live with us, surrounded by love and stability, along with their pets. Any extra funds raised will go directly toward supporting him and caring for their animals during this transition.
