Earlier this morning, I brought my kitten, Hank, to the vet for an x-ray after he got hurt playing with our Christmas tree on Friday night. Since he’s still only 8 months old, trying to fix his leg after it was broken would be almost impossible, and potentially it could not heal correctly. I was informed that he instead would need his hind leg amputated, since that was the best option for him. This was such heartbreaking news to receive. Hank is the sweetest kitten, with such a loving personality, and he deserves to live the best life. In order for him to have the best quality of life, this procedure is necessary.

As most people know, any procedure at a veterinary office is very expensive. I am going to do the absolute best I can for him, but it’s going to be difficult since the holidays have just passed, and I just recently moved again. I’ve decided to make a GoFundMe for anyone that would like to help. This is only a small portion of the cost, but I figured I would put this out there if anyone would like to help Hank.
