Eric’s ALS Diagnosis

Eric was diagnosed with ALS in early November, after almost a year of symptoms slowly coming on more and more. This diagnosis has been devastating and difficult to come to terms with. Eric just turned 34 years old and has a wife and a 2 year old son. Eric is an avid motorcycle rider and has always dreamed about taking a trip out west on his motorcycle. When getting diagnosed with a progressive terminal illness, time is of the essence, you have to figure out how you are going to fit a lot of life into a possible short period of time. We are also aware that as this progresses we will need expensive medical equipment in our home, and a handicapped accessible home. But for now we began planning quickly how to take an unforgettable trip, while Eric is still able to ride a motorcycle. Unfortunately due to the pandemic we have tried to come up with a way to be responsible and distance ourselves in an RV, which will be amazing but also expensive. We are hoping to take an RV, Logan, Eric and I, down south and then out west to make this trip a reality. We are asking anyone who is able, to contribute financially to our trip, no amount is too small.
