In Dire Need of Support

Hey all,

My name is Illia and I am here because of a dire financial situation I find myself in. I quit my job in December to really focus and cater to my production design job. Little did I know how unstable the job market would be... I was expecting to be fully involved in wardrobe and prop production on photoshoot sets all through this winter and had about four projects in January and February collectively.

Due to circumstances out of my control, all four were cancelled or postponed and I am now $2600 dollars behind on rent as well as utilities like heat and hot water. With the costs of living skyrocketing everywhere, I have been burning through my savings up until now.

My TPS status also expires this April if I do not renew it. It costs $550 to renew my Employment Authorization and TPS.

With all my efforts being focused on my production and, so far, unsuccessful job search, I am now in risk of losing heat, electricity and housing. I am hoping for the best, and being proactive reaching out to everyone I know for job leads and employment opportunities.

Currently, I need about $4000 to get back on my original footing and last through the months of March and April. Hopefully, by then I will have a job because I refuse to believe all of my actions and work are going unnoticed.
