Bailey’s Battle is my fundraiser for my dog Bailey. She has been dealing with health problems for most of her life and she keeps fighting through all of it. She has had cancerous mast cell tumors, more than seven surgeries, infections, and a lot of medical emergencies that would have broken most dogs. Somehow she stays gentle and happy and tries her best every day.

Lately Bailey developed a breathing problem in her nose. She struggles to get air and sometimes you can see her trying over and over just to take a normal breath. Some days she is alright and other days it gets scary. The only way to figure out what is happening is with a vet procedure called a nasal rhinoscopy. It allows the vet to see inside her nose and check for cancer, polyps, infection, or anything blocking her airway. The procedure costs up to 1200 dollars, but have set the goal to 500 as i am looking for a low cost vet to work it. It is the first step before any treatment can even begin.

I am doing everything I can for her. I check on her constantly and watch her breathing every day. I want to give her every possible chance to keep going, but I cannot afford this next step on my own. Bailey has been with me through a lot and she has never given up on anything. She deserves a chance to breathe normally again and to live without struggling.
