Make A Way For Wyatt

On May 12, 2020 my best friend Sierra, her husband Peter, and their son Peter
Wyatt traveled to Rochester Mayo and saw the Plastic surgeon and
neurosurgeon. On that day it was confirmed that their son Wyatt has a Metopic
Ridge with Trigonocephaly (Craniosynostosis.)

Craniosynostosis is a birth defect in which the bones in a baby's skull join
together too early. This happens before the baby's brain is fully formed. As the
baby's brain grows, the skull can become more misshapen. The spaces between a typical baby's skull bones are filled with flexible material and called sutures. Unfortunately with his diagnosis, he needs to have surgery done before his 1st
birthday. 

Because of Covid-19, they had a hard time even getting to that diagnosis.
Thankfully they have answers now, but unfortunately he needs this open surgery
(Cranial Vault Reconstructive Surgery) that includes a blood transfusion and working all the way below his eye sockets. Recovery for him will be a painful process.

The procedure will be an all day surgery,  and leave a scar from ear to ear on the
top of his head. Peter, Sierra, and Wyatt will end up being in Rochester about 2
weeks before and after his procedure. 

His parents will be staying in a hotel during the duration of his stay in the hospital for about 2 weeks. with hopes that there are no complications that they might
need to stay longer.

I’m reaching out today on their behalf to ask for as much prayer and support as
possible. The procedure out of pocket with cost them over 6K, without the cost of
doctors visits, follow up's, travel, and room and board for two weeks. Any help
helps!
