Cancer Care

My family and I are asking for help for our dearest Mother, Rose, Rosey, Oma, Mama Rosa Mundy. It was a few weeks ago we found out our Mother has lung cancer. On Monday, May 27th, we got some good news, the cancer has not spread, yet! The good thing about this is, she is eligible for and will be doing, chemo and radiation treatments starting next week. For 6 weeks, she will be undergoing intense radiation, 5 days a week for 15 min each session, and chemo 3 days a week for 3 hr sessions. After these 6 weeks, they are going to start radiation on her brain as there is a 60+% chance that's where it will spread to next. With all of this only giving us a 30% chance success rate.

Our mother has always been a hard worker. Raising 5 children and working 2 more jobs at a time to make ends meet. She was still working at Metro up until 3 weeks ago in the deli, when we got the news. The tough part is she was only working 3 days a week. EI will not be enough to cover her rent or even her utilities. Our Mom also has her side business, Etsy, online sales! She does really well with this and this was her biggest source of income. The sad part is, while undergoing these intense treatments, she will no longer be able to keep up with her online sales. Every day she is listing new items, selling, packaging and shipping items out weekly, sometimes daily.

All we are asking for is any donation to help ease the burden while our mother will be away from home 5 days a week for more than 6 weeks. We are hoping by everyone's kind donations our sweet Mother will not have to stress about paying bills and paying for the extra expenses while being away. She will then be able to put all her energy into staying alive.
