On Saturday November 21st, 2015 our friend and colleague at AEI Consultants, Fenwick Sereal, suffered a terrible motorcycle accident. Tragically, this was on the 15th birthday of his son.
Fenwick wanted to go riding with friends for a while before the birthday celebration. At 12:40 pm he flipped off his bike on Highway 4 and was possibly run over or sideswiped by 1 or 2 cars. (The police report is not yet available to confirm all of the details.)
Fenwick was rushed to John Muir Medical Center where they found he suffered internal bleeding and a collapsed lung in addition to a broken leg, 2 broken shoulder blades, at least 6 broken ribs.
After further medical attention and surgeries, it was discovered he also suffered 2 fractures to his spine.
It will be a very long, arduous road to recovery. He will need physical therapy and more surgeries.
Fenwick lives with his fiancée, Jennifer, and their 2 year old baby girl. He also has 5 other children (3 of which are minors he supports).
Household expenses, childcare and medical bills are not sustainable without Fenwick's support. His recovery is, as you can imagine, going to be much more attainable given any bit of financial relief.
Fenwick has been heavily sedated and is given extremely strong pain medication. He is not able to communicate well because of his breathing tube and slight amnesia.
Everyone at AEI Consultants is rallying for Fenwick! We know that his family will genuinely appreciate any support you can give during this long and trying recovery.
