Hi my name is Charlene and I have started this fundraiser for my sister Shay. Four years ago she was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, she had a feeding tube placed in her stomach and spent several months depending on a backpack pumping nutrition into her for food. She went through several chemotherapy treatment and followed with surgery to remove a portion of her stomach and esophagus. With the blessing of God she beat this. Three weeks ago she started experiencing paralysis on her right side. Thursday she will go in for surgery to remove a large cancer tumor embedded deep in her brain. If she does nothing she will be paralyzed within a matter of weeks. The surgery is very risky and still a possibility of paralysis. She will be in a rehabilitation facility for a undetermined amount of time. We are raising this money to help the family during this time. Any amount will help no matter how small.
