Help Alex fight cancer
In 2022, Alex went to seek help due to persistent knee pain. After his visit, the doctor ordered an MRI and further scans to better understand the issue. Unfortunately, after a long six-month wait for the MRI, the results were finally sent to a specialist.
In the spring of 2023, the specialist's office contacted us, promising a call in July to schedule an appointment for discussing the results. However, after numerous phone calls and visits, we were told that there was no referral on file for Alex. Frustratingly, the clinic suggested that he undergo another MRI.
During this time, the pain in Alex's knee fluctuated, which led us to assume it was likely a torn ligament, and we thought the clinic simply had a long waiting list.
Fast forward to 2025, we were fortunate to find a family doctor who noticed something unusual in Alex's prior scans and ordered additional testing. We held onto the hope that the worst-case scenario might be a torn ligament that would require surgery. Instead, we received the devastating news: Alex has cancer.
Our lives were turned upside down in an instant. Alex has been diagnosed with type B cell lymphoma in his femur, a very rare form of cancer. Thankfully, we have a compassionate team of doctors who have been incredibly supportive through this challenging journey.
Given the rising cost of living, reduced work hours, and the financial burden that comes with cancer treatment, we have come to realize that we need help to navigate this difficult time.
Alex has a young daughter and is a loving husband of 7 years to his wife Danielle. These funds will help us cover yard maintenance, medical assistance, home care equipment, medications, and snow removal.

We appreciate everything that our community has given, but unfortunately our healthcare system is so broken that we are feeling the crushing weight of debt and bills that we can not pay due to the loss of income, and our government would rather us lose everything before helping.
