On February 28th Cathy went into cardiac arrest. CPR was administered for about 40 minutes and she was resuscitated. After being transferred to the ICU, family was given a vast amount of information with all different possibilities. Over the course of the last week she's been on & off a breathing tube, has had gains & set backs, many tests, etc. As of today, 03.07.2017, she is breathing on her own & taking fluids on her own. She is still in the ICU, but she is slowly improving. She has a very long recovery road ahead of her. Cathy is such a strong, loving, selfless woman who has touched the lives of countless individuals! I know how much a small community can work together to help out their neighbor, friend, family member, etc. Cathy will not be coming home anytime soon so she will be needing help with a number of medical expenses, her stay in the hospital, & anything else the future holds for her recovery.
