Those that know Jenny Rizzuti from the Kauai community and from her travels know what a special person she is. Over the last 5 years she has been medically battling to save her liver which she received as a transplant when she was two years old. She has never touched drugs or messed with alcohol but rather spends her time adventuring and farming. Despite what she has faced in addition to being a single mom to one of my favorite kids she has remained positive and strong with a smile on her face and a passion for life.
Jenny was recently diagnosed with ascites as well as 1st stage liver failure. Doctors say there's nothing they can do until she gets even sicker at which point she might be able to get on the wait list for a new liver with no guarantee of the outcome. Quite promisingly, several years ago Jenny found an alternative health center in Boulder, CO that was willing to work with her unusual case. Within a short amount of time her liver numbers normalized but when the pandemic hit she then returned to Kauai. This experience gave her a glimpse at the possibilities of saving her liver. As her friend who has witnessed the walking miracle that she truly is, I am kindly asking for help to raise money so that she can continue treatments at an alternative healing center called Angel Farms on the Big Island. This center has had 100% remarkable success with patients who've had liver failure and are now fully recovered! That's the hope and promise we'd love to gift Jenny with. Angel Farms also recently worked hard to get Jenny into their program quickly due to her situation and she's in need of funding by June 18th.
Jenny is one of the most extraordinary people I've ever met. Many of us have been there for Jenny throughout this journey and I know how grateful she's been through it all. This is the time when she needs it the most! Any monetary help you can lend to reach our goal would be the greatest blessing. The funds go towards her treatments, flights, and care for her son Hayden while she is away. And if you don't have the funds to donate you can still be of huge help by sharing this campaign with many others. With all my heart, thank you!
