Hi, my name is Sky and I have a horse named Diego, on the 4th June 2025 he had a nasty field accident where he sliced his both hind back legs open and required stitches and box rest for 9 weeks and constant vet visits to re bandage him, Diego is only 2 years old however stands at around 17.1hh so he’s a big lad. After losing my mare in February and paying her bill off it’s been quite a struggle with his Vet bill on top of his needs and requirements throughout the months and days since his injury. He is healing well however it is still an open wound on his front hocks and will leave nasty scarring. These horses are my life and I would do anything for them, unfortunately the vet bill came at the time where I had no work on so no income and a vet bill=not an ideal situation and with being in full time education at college still means less work hours during the week…
