Hey y'all! My name is Ivan Lee and I am from Seattle, Washington. I am a junior at Franklin High School. I've recently been selected to represent the U. S national team at WJUC (World Junior Ultimate Championships) which is in Poland!
I started to play Ultimate Frisbee when I was in the sixth grade at Asa Mercer Middle School. I fell in love with the sport because of the players in the community and the spirit of the game. Ultimate has had such a positive impact on my life and I'm really excited to be able to represent the U.S at WJUC.
It has always been a goal of mine to participate in junior worlds because many of my role models have also. (Henry Phan, Tiffany Phan, Khalif El-Salam, etc.) Coming from South Seattle, money has always hindered many southend player's opportunities- including mine. The amount it would cost to get me to Poland is about $3500. Any donation big or small will be a huge help in my goal of playing at junior worlds. Even if you are not able to donate, I would really appreciate it if you could share this post!
