Help me get out and about again

Hi everyone, my name is Hannah, and I'm reaching out for your support. For years, I've experienced a range of bewildering and often painful issues with my joints, which would sometimes bend in ways they simply shouldn't. After a long and challenging journey, I finally received a diagnosis: Joint Hypermobility Syndrome (JHS).
This is a lifelong, incurable condition that, combined with my existing health challenges, has significantly impacted my daily life. Simple things that many take for granted, like leaving the house, have become a major struggle. The increasing frequency of falls has made me feel trapped and isolated within my own home.
The NHS has kindly approved me for a manual wheelchair, but unfortunately, it's not a viable long-term solution. Due to the nature of my JHS, even the act of propelling myself causes my shoulder joints to dislocate, leading to further pain and instability.
This is why I'm now focusing on acquiring an electric wheelchair. This would be a life-changing piece of equipment, allowing me to regain my independence and leave the house safely and without the constant fear of pain or falling. Imagine being able to participate in my community again, visit friends, and simply enjoy the outdoors without these overwhelming limitations.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. If you are able to contribute in any way, please know that I am deeply and genuinely grateful for your kindness and support. Every donation, no matter the size, will bring me one step closer to reclaiming my freedom and improving my quality of life.
With heartfelt thanks,
Hannah
All funds will be put towards the cost of the chair, nothing else. If I managed to exceed the target I'll be putting the money in a separate account for maintenance of the chair
