A few weeks back Kelsey Johnson was involved in a minor car accident where she was hit from behind. After the car crash Kelsey started experiencing minor headaches and decided to see her athletic trainer at school. Her athletic trainer advised her to visit the emergency room as he thought she might have a concussion. Little did she know that decision would make a huge discovery. While at the emergency room the doctors conducted CT scans, a X-Ray and then finally an MRI. After conduction these tests, the doctors discovered a small tumor on her frontal left lobe of her brain. The good news is that the doctors believe the tumor to be benign, however surgery is required in order to remove it. Kelsey is very nervous, however she has had amazing support from family friends and coaches. Kelsey has also found a great doctor out of Houston who is very optimistic and believes she will make a full recovery after surgery.
