Pray for Barry

hello friends. after much thought and deep consideration, i have decided to reach out to my social media community for help with my dog barry. After barry has been exhibiting signs this past two weeks of lethargy, uncomfortableness, the look of concern, lack of energy & spunk, weight loss, a sore on his mouth, sudden bad breath, i decided to get all of his blood work done. unfortunately, his tests came back really bad. he is in kidney failure at the moment. which basically means that his kidneys are not functioning properly and are not filtering out toxins. again, as the cause is unknown and he has been exhibiting these symptoms for a couple of weeks, immediate professional care is needed. i say this with such a heavy heart that i need him to be ok, or else i will not be ok. barry has been such a wonderful dog and my vet said he is only halfway through his life if we get him better. i need him to live another 8 years. with no known causes, it’s hard to pin point exactly why this happens but in barry’s case he was given a week to a month to be with us on this earth. right now barry is as comfortable as he could be given the circumstances and in the care of the amazing vets at guardian veterinary hospital. he is undergoing ultrasounds for the kidneys and testing and will be there until we figure this thing out. as i was hesitant to ask for help, now is the time i will use this platform and reach out to my friends, family, community, and people that have even just seen barry’s cute face on social media. anything helps and i’m hoping that with the best care he will be able to make a full recovery. I am graciously asking for your love and support to help get Barry the medical care that he desperately needs and the second chance he deserves. obviously we know that this type of care is very expensive and as i wish it wasn’t, it is out of my financial means. please keep me and my sweet baby barry in your thoughts and prayers. thank you for taking the time out of your busy days to read this and if you can help in any way, the appreciation i will feel from that is unmatched. please reach out if you have any questions or even just want to send kind words. i need the moral support. my step mom debbie is with me. bless her. love you all… and from the bottom of my heart and with all i got, thank you all so much in advance.
