On April 24,2018, tragedy has hit our family hard. There are no words to express our sorrow and sadness for my brother Mon  and his wife Arlyn , with  the loss of their only  15 year old son , Neo .  They a very close and fun  loving family living in Dubai.  Even if they reside in Dubai, we have seen Neo grow up thru Facebook,   with all the wonderful pictures  with his Mon and Dad.  Doing things together  like  travelling , biking, walking and even cooking for his Dad. We enjoyed looking  at all the pictures and posting .

Neo became a victim of another form of Cyberbullying called “Blue Whale Challenge”.  This is an online social media group where the administrators ask vulnerable teens to do self-harm and eventually kill themselves.  This suicide game demands players to do bizarre tasks to complete over 50 days.  

Now , Neo is in heaven . God has accepted him because he was not himself when he did what he did.  We know, Neo wants to be used as an instrument to prevent further bad things to happen and save his family , friends and others from any dangers and  bigger problems.   My brother, Mon , has gone back to  Neo’s school  faculty to request to them  to use Neo , as a positive tool to raise more awareness about the depression and cyberbullying.   We know, that’s how New would like to be remembered.

Memorial service will be held in Dubai but Neo will be brought back to the Philippines where most of his loved ones are waiting for him.   There may be  longer process to fly Neo and the family back to Manila due but any information received will be shared  as soon as possible.  
At this time , we ask for your help during this difficult time. All donations will go towards funeral expenses to give Neo the proper burial he deserves.
