Hi, my name is Amber, and I’m raising funds for my nephew, Rylan, he was diagnosed at age 17 and had surgery for testicular cancer, but it came back and he’s been very sick with excruciating pain. Now he is 20 years old and currently facing a life-altering diagnosis: testicular cancer that has spread to his liver, kidneys and lymph nodes. He is currently in Fort Worth Hosp and my sister is unable to work until the medical team sets up a game plan for his upcoming treatments and surgery. They live in Midland and have been in Fort Worth a week, and have no clue how long they will be here for the upcoming treatments. She does not get paid for taking FMLA unfortunately so I’m trying to help ease the stress that they are already under.

At a time when he should be focusing on building his future, Rylan is instead fighting for his life. This has hit our family hard — emotionally and financially. He will be having aggressive treatments, including surgery and chemotherapy, and there may be more ahead. Every step of the way has been tough, but he’s facing it with courage and determination.

The cost of fighting cancer is overwhelming. Between hospital bills, medications, follow-up scans, travel to specialists, and time off work, the financial pressure is too much and it has just begun.
