These are dear friends of mine who experienced a tragic accident. Kurt Lybarger fell from a 12 foot wall yesterday, while working. He broke both heels in the fall. He will be bedridden for 4 months and will not be able to return to his construction job for up to a year. This is a very special family to so many. He has a wife, Ann Marie, and 3 boys who live at home (17, 19, and 21). This will affect them substantially. Their insurance deductible will total $14,000 for 2017 and 2018.  He is self employed, so there is no workman’s compensation and no disability available to him.
